We run a small flock of cross-bred range ewes, we generally lamb late in April and our lambs are ready for pickup from July-September. We believe that sheep are truly a range animal that perform best and are healthiest out on range ground. Our lambs are all natural, they run on Wyoming sagebrush country from the time they are a few weeks old until the day they are sorted off for slaughter.
Our lambs begin reaching slaughter weight starting in late July. Throughout the fall we will have different weight classes of lambs and can match weights depending on what the buyer wants to do with the lamb ie. barbeque, cut and wrap. We strongly encourage you if you are interested in a lamb to contact us well in advance of July.
Lambs are sold by live weight and the price per pound is determined by the current market price of lambs. The buyers is responsible for all charges associated with having the lamb processed as well as making arrangements to have the lamb processed.
We take orders in advance for lambs and require a $50 non-refundable deposit per lamb, this is generally slightly less than half of the final price of the lamb. We work on an individual basis to best match the lambs weight and pick up and delivery times with what works best for you.
We are very proud of the quality of lambs that we are able to offer, lambs that are raised on nothing but good Wyoming range grass, water, and plenty of room to buck and play!
