Whitt Livestock

Welcome, and thank you for stopping by Whitt Livestock's internet home range.  We run A.H.A Registered Horned Heritage Hereford Cattle, or as we think of them cow's from the good ol' days!  We also run a small flock of cross-bred range sheep and raise grass fat lambs.  We invite you to look around, whether you are new to the short cow world and looking for information on these amazing little bovines or you're a fellow breeder, we are very proud of our cows and our sheep program and won't miss an opportunity to tell you all about them!

Ranch Updates

Congratulations to Todd and Kim Bernstein for getting their herd up and running.  Meeting wonderful people and putting good cows in great pastures makes all of it worthwhile!


Slaughter results from a 3yr old grass fattened 1080lb Heritage Hereford steer.  Excellent marbling, taste, texture, and is really tender.  18oz Sirloin
 

Commercial cross breeding program...
First calving commercial Angus 2yr old heifer laid down and put this 58lb heifer calf on the ground out of LH RETURN TO THE ROCK 403.  Superior calving ease and bounce back! 

UPDATE!
we are thrilled to bring LH SUN RIVER into our breeding program, we believe this young bull will make an amazing contribution to our program, we love our Liberty's!
